SATC will be running the AAC for Caregivers Training Program. Intake will be on a first come first serve basis.

AAC for Caregivers

Synopsis

Participants will learn to use AAC for caregiver strategies with their child and understand basic principles that guide AAC use and foster AAC and language development.

Objectives

- Understand basic principles of AAC.
- Learn eight AAC for caregiver strategies to foster the use of AAC for your child.
- Apply and gain confidence to use the caregiver strategies
- Support the use of AAC within daily routines and everyday settings.
- Network with like-minded caregivers using AAC for their child(ren)

Note: There are two runs 9.30 am– 12.30 pm and 2 – 5 pm

Fees

- Upon confirmation of intake for caregiver training program(s), a one-time intake fee of S$130 will be collected per family unit.

- With support from our generous donors, the training programs have been heavily subsidized for the participating family units. Each family unit is to only make payments towards the intake fee for attending the caregiver training programs for this year.
